Somewhere between 18,000 and 48,000 Iraqis have lost their lives in the war. At the same time, I read in Words From Iraq April 10, 2006 entry that, according to Seymore Hersch in the New Yorker, the Bush Administration is planning an invasion of Iran. The Washington Post also published a report that described an attack on Iran as not immanent, but that none-the -less listed possible targets for limited air strikes planned by the CIA and Pentagon.
